Letter to Herman LeRoy in New York (N.Y.) forwards a newspaper containing an advertisement "relative to the Special Indents of South Carolina" which Izard asks to LeRoy to have printed in New York. Letter also mentions the disconcerting recall of Mr. Genet (French minister to the U.S.): "The tranquility of this country in a great measure depends upon the character of his successor."
